With all the cold weather, we've had more indoor recess recently than I would wish.  However, it's provided an opportunity for students to develop some nice friendships across ages.  We have a crew of K-3s who have made the Herons their hangout of choice.  It's been a lot of fun.

Downloading the footage from our Flip, I came across a lot of short films that the Herons shot during recess and lunch.  I've included one here and hope that you enjoy the chance to peak in at their more informal school time.  I've been really pleased with the camaraderie in the Herons — we are a class who just seems to get along well.  Students share jokes and talents with each other and seem genuinely supportive of each others' interests and accomplishments.
