Every 5th grader is a mentor to a 4th grader as he or she works on the personal project. The fifth graders take this responsibility very seriously. The 4th graders are grateful for the help and it also helps solidify the skills that the fifth graders are using for their own honors projects. The 5th graders feel very connected to their mentees. In fact, one of the first questions I fielded this year was, “When do we get our mini-mentees?”
Today, our video is a message to our mini-mentees. We’re looking ahead to when it’s your turn to be up hear next year and thinking about what you’ll enjoy.
