Heron families, I need your help.

A dream of mine (and a lot of current and former Prairie Creek students) is within reach — new playground equipment that will compliment our philosophy and enhance our children's play.  It's been something we've been scheming about for a long time, ever since a group of Herons worked on a playground research project four years ago. The time wasn't right then, but now…barely contained yip of excitement…we're going to make it happen.

A few days ago, Simon found out that he was chosen to promote Give to the Max day by swimming with the sharks at Sea Life in Mall of America.  We've decided to take this unique opportunity and use it as a chance to jump into our fundraising for new equipment.  With your help to promote the the project, we will be able to take a bite out of the money we need to make our playground dream a reality.

Here are a few pictures from the collection of possibilities — just imagine!7.16000_Maypole_001-4e505dde

So please donate as generously as you can on Give to the Max Day (you can do it right now, and choose for your donation to be counted on Thursday) and please send the link to DONATE to as many families/friends/alumni as you can.  Talk around the water cooler about Simon's swim with the sharks.  Tweet, Like or Instagram a shark picture with the link to donate.  The more we raise, the bigger we can dream.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting Prairie Creek and the work we do.
